Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate //

Sunday 26 July 2015

I must be the last person in the world to try this cult Kiehls product- rarely does a skincare product blow me away upon first use...

The main active ingredient in Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate is primrose oil, which is believed to have a positive effect on the skin’s natural barriers in order to repair and strengthen them. According to the manufacturer, this not only improves the appearance of the outermost layer of the skin, but it also improves its ability to better retain moisture so that the skin remains hydrated. Lavender oil is also included in the formula to fight inflammation and irritation caused by environmental toxins. Other natural ingredients include squalane, which gives Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate its smooth texture, and limonene, and gives the elixir a pleasant citrus scent.

The product is very silky, easily absorbed and known to be particularly good at mixing with the natural oils of your skin. It works overnight to help skin recover radiance, and to make your skin feel smoother and softer.

I use about 2-3 drops on cleansed skin (sometimes more) and gently press it on the skin before massaging it in. For best results, apply Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate twice a day. You can finish your beauty ritual with a moisturiser, as this product will not interact with other skin care creams or serums.

An absolute must have product to add to your skincare, a little goes a long way so expect to get at least 4-6 months use.

Available at Kiehls, Dublin or online at Arnotts LINK!
