Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick //

Monday 6 February 2017

Just when you thought you owned enough nude lipsticks to make it a lifetime, The amazing Charlotte Tilbury goes and launches two new shades for Spring that are so beautiful your makeup bag is already aching for them.  Ms Tilbury, has finally given the people what they want, and created a lipstick in the same shade as her iconic lip pencil, Pillow Talk. One of my all time favourites. She has also launched 'Valentine' which is one of the KISSING lipsticks in a beautiful petal-rose pink shade.  The formula leaves your lips feeling soft and hydrated and it glides across the lips without bleeding out. It can look quite light on the lips compared to 'Bitch Perfect' , which in my opinion is a perfect pink-y beige'.

But the star of the range is of course the now iconic 'Pillow Talk' , on fair skin tones It comes across as a rosy, pinkish-nude, on medium skin, it gives that 'your-lips-but-better' finish, and on darker skin tones it's a dreamy, paired-back, neutral pink. Charlotte describes the shade as "a gorgeous nude-y pink. That mimics and enhances the natural hue of your lips, so you can cheat a perfect pillow-y pout in seconds."
The new Pillow Talk lipstick is made of Charlotte's ever-popular 'Matte Revolution' formula, meaning it's non-drying, long-lasting, and has a square-tipped bullet.
Whilst it's 100% matte, the formula is still ultra hydrating and contains '3D glowing pigments' - which Charlotte explains, 'creates the illusion of lit-from-within lips that appear wider and fuller'.
If the new Pillow Talk lipstick is anywhere near as popular as it's lip pencil counterpart I'm betting it'll sell out fast, so you better be quick if you want to get your hands on one... Unfortunately , Its still exclusive to CharlotteTilbury.com so is not yet available in Brown Thomas / Arnotts , Dublin.
