I'm sure that most parents feel them as their babies turn one,
That feeling of life running away from you a little bit;
a mixture of happiness and sadness,
excitement for their future
and bittersweet feelings about the fleeting nature of childhood.
My little girl turning one.
12 whole months of having another daughter.
Of getting to know her
Of being her mummy.
Of loving her.
I just feel excited and so incredibly lucky that I get to be these little girls mama!
