ESPA Re-Hydrator Facial //

Friday, 26 June 2015

I recently enjoyed an ESPA facial at the magnificent spa in Castlemartyr Luxury Resort in Co Cork, which has 7 individual treatments rooms and 2 couples suites, 4 manicure/predicure stations overlooking the fabulous gardens- Relaxation and rejuvenation are high on the agenda here!

Relaxation and vitality lounges, indoor heated pool, steam room , sauna and jet pool are all available for spa guests whilst enjoying soothing ESPA therapies and treatments.

Before the facial started, my therapist, Barbara, asked me to choose from one of three facial oils based on it's scent. Interestingly, your choice can change each time you have a facial depending on how stressed or hormonal you are.  After a detailed consultation and in-depth skin analysis using technology to identify skin conditions not visible to the naked eye, My therapist Barbara suggested a 'Re-Hydrator facial' which promises to leave the skin supple and nourished. My skin is normal but dehydrated ( a skin condition , not type)

This facial included a luxurious cleanse, with the products below, followed by toning, exfoliation and a nourishing mask. I found that the Lifting and Smoothing Mask left my skin brighter and more even toned.

After a hand and shoulder massage, the facial finished with some Radiance Intensive Serum, the smell is just divine and my skin glowed afterwards! ESPA facials are definitely an indulgence but worth a splurge once in a while.

Following my facial, I was escorted to the beautiful relaxation suites, where I enjoyed a delicious smoothie and fruit, overlooking the stunning gardens. Ah Bliss!
