When NARS release a foundation, you know it will be ground breaking! The All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation is incredible. It has a lightweight fluid texture that gives you full coverage with one pump. It has a similar texture to the new fluid foundations like Maestro and YSL Fusion but has a more natural looking finish that has just the right amount of glow. It covers imperfections flawlessly.
In terms of wear, NARS claims this foundation is “clinically proven” to last 16 hours, or, essentially “all day” if you allow for 8 hours of sleep. We can’t attest to the 16-hour wear time, but you can expect this to easily last the course of a standard workday It works best buffed into the skin with a Real Techniques Buffing Brush / Zoeva Silk Finish Brush. Great for girls with combination / oily skins.
I was matched to the shade 'Fiji' which is slightly lighter than 'Punjab' in Sheer Glow. For daytime, I usually wear NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser which is lovely but if I want more coverage, this is amazing.
I love the luminous finish that it delivers whilst being matte enough to skip powder. It really brightens my skin.
Priced at €43 which is pretty standard for high end foundations, this will last about 12 months. A little goes a really long way.
