This weekend, following a historic referendum, Ireland has become the first country in the world to legalise same-sex marriage by popular vote. In honour of this, I am rocking my own Rainbow dress!

Really want to bring this chair home!

Sachajuan hair repair
SACHAJUAN

If like me, you are heading to a salon every 14-16 weeks to colour your hair, you will require a pretty specific maintenance routine, mainly to deep condition often. Getting highlights regularly completely strips your hair of moisture and colour so using oils and masks are an absolute must.  In the past, I have always favoured Kerastase Nutritive Treatment and although it's a great product , I wanted to try this 10 minute treatment from Sachajuan.

Sachajuan is a brand of Swedish professional hair care that’s available on CultBeauty. It's not an overly blogged about product but I think it's comparable with any of the high end brands. I love the clinical packaging, really old school!

This product is a hair repair, designed to be massaged into clean hair delivering intense hydration to heal split ends and banish frizz. Score. It has a musky scent which I love- Once massaged into the hair, its disappears- no heavy residue.  It rinses out really easily and does not leave the hair feeling heavy and weighed down like other creamy textures.

After the first use, I didn't wash my hair for a week! No greasiness , no dryness, just easy to manage hair.

What Cult Beauty say;

'Used regularly, it helps restore shine to manes that are suffering the effects of too much styling and looking a bit frazzled. The unique combination of proteins and minerals penetrate the follicle, delivering intense hydration to heal split ends and banish frizzies for shiny, healthy looking air. You'll see immediate improvement and will soon wonder how your hair survived so long without it'

Stripes Pleated Tulip Skirt
Stripe Pleated Tulip Skirt

Stripes have taken over my whole wardrobe but was missing the perfect striped skirt, until this one came along and it's only €40! I love the fabric and it doesn't wrinkle at all- the material is a thin scuba/neoprene type of fabric but it's not too thick so perfect for summer. Just a word of warning- Chicwish take at least a month to deliver (standard delivery) and their sizes are on the small side; this skirt is a SM and I would say its a 6-8.

BareMinerals Complexion Rescue //

I have never tried anything from BareMinerals before, but this little product kept popping up as a 'must have summer tinted moisturiser' so I nabbed it before it sold out!

It's a gel-cream product that has the lightweight consistency of a tinted moisturiser and the skin-perfecting benefits of a BB or CC cream. Free of parabens, fragrance and oil, BareMinerals Complexion Rescue is formulated with hydrating ingredients like calcium and gylcerin, SPF 30 and heart-leaved globe daisy for an additional barrier against toxins and pollutants. It makes skin look like skin and that's what we all what, right?

bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream Review + Photos

In order to achieve sheer coverage, I buffed a pea-sized amount of Complexion Rescue onto my face with a Zoeva silk finish brush in swift, circular motions. I immediately noticed that my skin appeared less dull but still looked natural. I also love how it feels. It's not sticky or greasy, and it really does makes my skin feel softer and more hydrated after I've been wearing it.

BareMinerals Complexion Rescue is the perfect answer for that no makeup yet natural skin look, or the ultimate primer for your foundation if you want a fuller coverage. It has SPF30 so you can be sure you’re protected as well as hydrated. This is a perfect summer foundation / tinted moisturiser. Also, you can add a drop of this into your normal foundation to give it a dewy appearance with added skincare benefits. Great with the NARS Luminous Weightless foundation.

It is available in an impressive 10 shades in cool to warm tones, making it super easy to find your perfect match without having to create a special blend

Opal 01 - for the fairest porcelain skin with cool tones
Vanilla 02 - for light skin with neutral tones
Buttercream 03 - for light skin with golden tones
Suede 04 - for medium skin with cool tones
Natural 05 - for medium skin with neutral tones
Ginger 06 - for medium skin with golden tones
Tan 07 - for tan skin with neutral tones
Spice 08 - for tan skin with golden tones
Chestnut 09 - for dark skin with golden tones
Sienna 10 - for deep skin with neutral tones

For reference, I am Buttercream 03.

The Great Kate //

Sunday, 3 May 2015

Kate Middleton and Prince William welcomed their second royal baby, a little princess, on Saturday, May 2nd, in Paddington, London. That same afternoon, the Duchess of Cambridge left the hospital wearing her favourite British designer, Jenny Packham, and she could not have looked more radiant!

Not one to let a baby bump get in the way of looking effortlessly elegant, the Duchess of Cambridge has wowed us all with her fashion choices. It's been an eclectic mix of high street and designer pieces during her 2nd pregnancy.
