What's in my makeup bag?

 

Everyone loves a nosey into someone else's makeup bag, right? Its personally my favourite thing to do! I know this looks like a lot of makeup and obviously I don't wear it everyday but these are my go-to products when the need arises....

I apply my bases using Real Techniques Expert Face Brush , At the moment, I love Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet  in B20, it is expensive but you only need a tiny amount. It's lightweight yet smoothes and evens out the complexion for a velvety matte makeup result.

Another all time favourite is NARS Sheer Glow in punjab, not at all sheer! but it leaves skin hydrated, more luminous, softer and smoother. Next I keep everything in place with a sweep of Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot which gives skin a traceless, smooth, velvety finish.
 

 I love NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in custard for any blemishes & Maybelline Dream Lumi™ Touch Highlighting Concealer in Nude for under the eyes to cancel any purple/blue undertones. We all have those right?!

 

Once the base is done, I sweep  NARS Laguna Bronzing Powder in a '3' shape, into the hollows and up on the forehead. My inner Kim K!! This olive based medium tan shade has a slight ashen tone that lends itself well to contouring as well as being perfect for warming up light to medium skin tones.

 Blush wise, my all time favourite, is NARS Deep Throat (cheeky!), it's the perfect sheer peach and a great everyday shade.  To brighten up my skin, I use  MAC Soft & Gentle Mineralised Skin Finish, this little gem is described as a 'gilded peach bronze', its a luxurious velvet-soft powder with high-frost metallic finish. Add to cheeks, brows or body for a glow.

                                   

If I fancy a bit of eye colour, this is what I reach for. The Urban Decay Naked Basic Palette- It is the palette EVERY woman needs in her beauty arsenal. With six stripped-down, neutral shadows, it has everything you need for the perfect neutral matte eye, with a slight sheen and a suede-like feel. L'Oreal The Super Slim by Infallible® Never Fail eyeliner is perfect for creating sleek and sophisticated eyes in one simple stroke! I follow up this with Maybelline Falsies mascara.

My every day lip is Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector This iconic creamy balm really is the perfect ‘my lips but better’ colour. It’s a lovely natural peach that provides a slight glossy sheen. A new addition is this No7 High Shine Lip-Crayon in 'daydreamer', it provides a gorgeous glossy lip colour in a crayon format which is really easy to wear. I always have MAC Patisserie in my makeup bag just in case. Barely there, but still a polished effect.
